Hello Michael, it’s Sonia Rea, nee Chirnside. I just wanted to let you know that Mum passed away this morning, she has had a 6 year battle with brain cancer.
I know it is very cheeky but would you be in a position to conduct her funeral service? She has been in a nursing home for 2.5 years so sadly has had minimum contact with St Katharine’s and would like somone who knows her to conduct her cremation.
I fully appreciate that this may not be feasible with the day job and covid world but if you don’t ask you don’t get.

I have only just become aware of this message so apologise for such a delayed response. Michael has retired and is longer here, but I will send an email to him with the news, although appreciate that it is some months late and you will have undoubtedly made alternative arrangements.
